Where the clouds pass by your window
A unique rural house restored by artists in Val Pellice, Piedmont — surrounded by forests, trails, and silence.
People from all over the world come here to rest, reconnect, and create.
This is not organized tourism. It is a slow, deep escape — for those who want to live differently, even if only for a few days.
Where would you like to wake up?
Choose your room — or take the whole house
Want the whole place just for yourself and your guests? You can rent the entire estate — for retreats, workshops, reunions, or simply a special time together.
What to do if you are lost in the clouds?
Plan your soulful days
From forest paths to art shows, sauna steam to wine talks — something is always happening. You don’t need a city to feel inspired. Just a place that lives with meaning.
Hike to the edge of the sky
The house sits at 800 m altitude — and from here, you can hike to alpine pastures, panoramic peaks, or hidden waterfalls.
Bring proper shoes if you plan to explore. Marked trails start just outside the house. Walk through forests, meadows, and mountain paths.
Some walks take 15 minutes. Others — hours.
We’ll show you our favorites.
Breathe deep in the sauna
After long walks and mountain air, there’s nothing better than heat, steam, and silence.
Our hand-built wood-fired sauna is surrounded by forest.
We offer private sessions with real steam, veniki (birch or oak leaf bundles), and essential oils.
Wrap yourself in a towel, pour water on the stones, and let everything else dissolve.
Share meals, stories, and wine
You don’t have to cook — unless you want to.
We’ll recommend the best places nearby: from farm-to-table restaurants to hidden taverns where locals go.
Need a reservation? We’ll take care of it.
Or stay in, and join us around the long table when we cook at home — with seasonal ingredients, local wine, and stories that grow between bites.
Join artistic happenings
We host concerts, poetry nights, workshops and artist talks.
Some are planned in advance, others take shape spontaneously — if you’re lucky, something is always brewing.
Guests are welcome to listen, watch, or join in.
Learn the secrets of the stone oven
Our old stone oven isn’t just for show — it’s the heart of many evenings here.
Sometimes we light the fire and gather to make real pizza: slow-fermented dough, local ingredients, shared laughter.
You can help shape the dough, learn to manage the fire, or just sit back and enjoy the result. It’s not a class — it’s a ritual.
Here, you can do it all
— or nothing at all
You can climb mountains, meet local artisans, or learn to use a wood-fired oven. You can also drink wine, stare at the hills, and think about doing all that tomorrow.

Make something with your hands
Paint, write, photograph, or simply play — inspiration lives in the silence, in the light, and in the stories of those who came before you.
Bring your own materials, or use what’s here.
No pressure. No performance. Just time and space to create.

Visit farmers and gather tastes
We’ll connect you with nearby producers — cheese makers, beekeepers, gardeners, and bakers.
Taste their work, hear their stories, and maybe take a piece of the valley back home with you.

Hunt for treasures in flea markets
From hidden antique shops to open-air vintage stalls — Piedmont is full of surprises.
We’ll show you where to look for old postcards, ceramics, typewriters, paintings, or that perfect dusty lamp you didn’t know you needed.

Wander through timeless towns
Torre Pellice, Pinerolo, Saluzzo…
Each town has its own rhythm, its own café, its own echo of the past.
Lose yourself in medieval alleys, discover quiet courtyards, and feel the old stones speak.
Hear it from those who’ve been here
Amazing, magic, inspiring, comfortable, friendly, full of energy, creative, collective, surprising, motivating, unique!

Is a quiet place close to nature, full of life, with many interesting details. A place where art becomes part of everyday life.

Stone Oven House is a little piece of paradise in the mountains that inspires creativity, community and mindfulness. What truly makes me happy at Stone Oven House? Being part of something inspiring
Fanny Lakoubay
The most important thing about this place is the atmosphere of creativity — where everything is art: the paintings, the tables, the walls, the landscape. The simplicity of the complex. Creating is easy. You just need to be — like the people around you — real.
Michail Shishkin
Friendly place and you can meet people from different countries and gain your personal and professional skills. And of course the owners are people with amazing souls. New connections, also consider as a second home, art space and so on.
Khatuna Turmanidze
It is the most cosy place for life and creativity. Wild nature around and friends inside.
